We are offering thee opportunity. It is all about residual income. Every network marketer has the urge to generate residual income. Some network marketers get frustrated, give up, and swear off network marketing forever. Yet, that urge to generate a residual income never dies. It may be resurrected a few months later or a few years later. Get your information in front of that person, and that “MLM Bug” may resurface in the prospect. A solid product and attractive company is necessary, yet the opportunity is the reason why most network marketers join a company.
I Love Recruiting (cause it’s easy)
To me, recruiting is fun. I love calling strangers and I always will. Most people who recruit only do it so that they eventually won’t have to. Sure, recruiting gives me a great sense of accomplishment. Yes, I have met many friends and have helped them become successful. When it comes down to it, I would much rather do something other than cold calling prospects. On the other hand, recruiting is EASY… Not fun, just Easy. I believe that nearly anyone can become very successful by using simple genealogy recruiting methods.
The hardest part is to get started. Once you get started, it is easy to give up. If, however, you are able to consistently make these calls, over and over again, you absolutely will become successful.
Let's go over some experiences with calling network marketers.
If I make 1,000 calls, I will average about 60% good numbers. Of the 600 good numbers, I will leave about 450 messages. Of the 150 people I actually reach, about 30%. 75% of the 30% will take a look at the business. That equates to 45-112 people who look at the business. From that, 4-10 people will enroll.
I can do 1,000 calls in 5-10 days. Even if it takes me 20 days, I still get 4-10 enrollments. 4 enrollments every 10 days = 12 per month. 4 enrollments every 20 days = 6 per month.
I also will get 1-4 enrollments just from people calling me after I have left the 450 messages. If I leave 450 messages every 10 days, I will get 3-12 more enrollments per month.
Essentially, it all works out to about one enrollment for every 100-200 dials, good or bad. 100 dials a day = 15-30 enrollments a month. It might even be as low as 10 a month. One is a "top 10" recruiter at 10-30 enrollments a month.
Don't overanalyze this process. Don't get bogged down in too many statistics. I know generally what the percentages are, and I don't care about bad numbers. I only care about the good numbers. I have had at least 2 days when I made 200 dials with "only" 50 good numbers and "only" 5 people actually reached. However, on both occasions, 4 of the 5 looked at the business, and 2 of the 4 enrolled. If I only had looked at the "bad", I would have concluded that these were "bad" days. However, I enrolled 4 people on 2 of the "worst" days, by some conventional standards that I ever experienced.
I also remember one weekend when I was working a list from a nutrition company. I made 500 dials on Saturday and Sunday. I reached about 250 good numbers, I left about 200 messages, and I had about 25 people agree to look at the business. As a result of that weekend, 8 people enrolled the following Mon-Wed. It all depends on one's perspective. I figure that for every 100 dials, I will get 50 good numbers, and I will actually speak with 10-15 people. Of those 10-15, 5-10 will look at the business, and one will enroll. Even if I only speak with 5 people, 2-3 will take a look. And for every 5-10 people who take a look, one will enroll. Frankly, I do not care about anything else. I can do 100 calls in 2-3 hours. If I get one enrollment every 2 days from that, that equals 15 enrollments a month for 90 hours of work a month. If you do 15 enrollments a month for 2 years, you most likely can then quit forever.
One last thing you might like to know... I did not recruit my first person until AFTER I had done about 1,000 calls. Now, I did those 1,000 calls in my first 5-7 days, so the first enrollment came fairly quickly. The point is, it took about 1,000 calls for my first "home run".
When I make a call I keep in mind that I do not want to sound like a telemarketer.
Actually, I try to sound completely opposite of the way that most telemarketers sound. When you have a canned script, you are apt to reading it or reciting it from memory. So, the first rule… No Canned Scripts.
YES, I find myself saying the same things over and over again. Yet I change the voice inflection and I do not sound like I am reading the words. I make a concerted effort to make every call a normal conversation – not a sales pitch.

It is important that you have a web site name that is easy for the prospect to remember or write down. If you have a web site name that is long or hard to remember, I recommend that you do the following:

You may want to choose something like: www.TheGoCrew.com or something that has nothing to do with MLM yet is easy to give over the phone. Anything will work... try to make it easy to say and to remember.
Register the domain name for about $8.95 per year. After it is registered, GoDaddy will let you forward your new web site name to your recruiting web site for free.

Why Being YOURSELF Is The Key To Your Success!
Ok so let's think about this one for a second...
How long have you been in this industry of Network Marketing/MLM, Direct sales, etc?
1, 2, 3 years?
Maybe more maybe less...
I don't know how long it's been for you.
But for me...
It was 2 years before I truly understood this concept and put it into play.
You see I spent 2 years trying to be like everyone else...
I spent 2 years trying to do what everyone else was doing...
And what kills me is that it took two years of complete insanity to finally
realize that the things that everyone else were doing,
were never going to work for me.
I mean my goodness,
those things weren't even working for most of the people I was trying to be like!

How To Avoid The Slaughter On-Line
If the little guys don't watch out, they will never graduate. There is a "code” of conduct" that the full-timers are using and the part-timers need to be aware of it. Or they will churn.
It's called Affiliate Continuity: It's subtle and it's also a leading indicator of the internet Captains who are quietly taking over.
Is it ever "quiet" on-line? Probably not.
Okay, that was the preamble. Here's the skinny.
Amateurs look for cash. They look for one-time LOW COST hits. Make it cheap and promise them income and they will flock to you like little weeble Boy Scouts standing in line at a Saturday a.m. bring your dad all you can eat pancake free for all.
The "oh poor me I never made a penny" crowd is always looking for the hot-new program.
Not a team. Not freedom, not lifestyle.
Not a business model.
Nothing significant, just money.
Mention continuity and you'd think You had just shoved a lemon in their mouth.
Ask that crowd what business book they are currently reading to prepare themselves for their new found MLM wealth and they would probably look back at you like, "huh?"
They line up and ask, "what is your system" and almost like trained chimps with a script they second that with, "what do I need to do?"
Task questions. It's almost LABOR and never any questions about bigger BUSINESS.
Because they come into MLM as employees. They have the wage earner mind and that includes a knee-jerk compulsion to create a to-do list.
The better question however, is this, "what should it look like when I am doing it right?"
Another one could be, "what will it look like when I am done?" I bet Walt Disney and Jack Walsh asked those questions.
Pardon me (though) if this sounds like training. God forgive me. Forget the expertise and heavens to betsy if we actually speak in business models!
However my friend, that's where the money is. Because more times than not, predictable effects that reflect clearly defined causes, not just throwing mud up against the wall, is where the money is.
Affiliate Continuity is about marketing a seamless thread of products and services that are tightly woven together, to produce a predictable commitment, from the consumer to order your MLM products every month.
Yet the little guy doesn't have that continuity. He just baits his hook with a little of that and a little from over there.
What he is missing is the continuity that makes it all predictable in the first place.
For instance, no matter where you met with the late Corey Rudl on-line, he would always show you his various software packages.
You could hop onto his ezine, climb into his little $17members site, you could order his training video's and the never sharp turns away from the fact that what he is really trying to do, is to collect as many paid subscribers to his software packages as he humanly can.
Meanwhile, Corey was making RETAIL cash from numerous products he sold, in other words, he was making money every minute of every day, yet he was always predictably back-ending his subscription based software.
And that's continuity.
Look at Tony Robbins. No matter what he sells you and Lord knows he has a library of cool products, he never forgets to ask you to become a subscriber to either his monthly CD subscription or his monthly consultation/motivation coaching.
And then there is "Jerry Joe Buckwheat" or better-known as the "average Joe" of MLM.
He doesn't have any predictability in what he does. No clear objective. He just takes one of those, maybe one of these from over there, and if that doesn't work, within a month he will quit both and start all over again in a few other brand new pre-launches!
Here is a tip. Okay, forget the tip.
Here is a wack-up side the head. YOU will either find a marketing camp and sell their entire line, front ends and back-ends included, and you will stick with it this time or you will wish you had listened to me in an year when everything falls apart.
Here is another example of perfection, take Jimmy Vigilante as a case study. Okay, so he has three member sites and he has a few really neat affiliate programs and he may look off-the-cuff, but look carefully at this Giant.
EVERYTHING he touches he invariably points you to his nutrition MLM. That's affiliate continuity. That's where you may have multiple retail affiliate programs, but the "funnel" is always snapping the eyes of your prospects back to the ultimate back-end.
A leads to B and B leads to C. That is continuity.
I call it affiliate-Continuity.
And here's a fine point: Even though he may have a lead deal and an MLM training site he promotes, Gawd this is so hush-hush-----
Drum roll please:
ITS ALL RUN and SECRETLY OWNED by the same people! Fact.
Because to infect his people with "out side" voices is long-term death!
In other words, eventually, all LEAD programs will add nutrition items and take your nutrition downline away from you and into theirs.
And eventually, that GENERIC MLM trainer you point your downline to? Guess what?
He will eventually join an MLM and steal your downline from you.
Guess what? BIG AL just started his own MLM and that phone deal its just unveiled a nutrition line.
Isn't that some reality and also a prediction of things to come!
And I say, good for them. Go for it. I also say, you better keep it in the family.
Corey did. Jimmy does. Tony does. I do. Oprah Winfrey does, heck, even Tom Hanks knows this and that's why his own production company makes his movies for him.
POINT your people away and outside of your "family" and you will live to regret it. Ignore the law of Affiliate Continuity and you will sabotage your efforts.
The game is to PICK YOUR TEAM.
The game is to be in the game in ten years.
It's about being "the last man standing." Walk as if and go as though.
It's about walking with teams that take over MLM categories and territories these days much more than it is about products and pay plans.
In the old days, as a community of Networkers we stood behind products. What will be fashionable in 2008 and 2009will be to take a stand and to stand behind the echo of one specific TEAM.

D: is what is being sold an also-ran or fresh and new?
E: JOIN all of their programs.
F: Set-up and qualify to earn on all of their income streams.
G: Put on your Armor and beat your chest!
People who DO NOT take a stand >>> stand for nothing. And fall for everything.
It pays to lock-down.
It pays to stand up for something.
It pays to be an original.
It pays to work in business models, instead of theory.

It worked for a Muhammad Ali.

into this pencil neck Geeks sales funnel. But I did.
I bought his eBook for $97 and it's utter rubbish.
It's thinly veiled around loosely conjectured content
and I doubt the guy could even spell the word relevant.
So why did I bite? Why did I buy this guys dribble?
I saw all of his testimonials. His bio seemed legit
and at least the guy can write convincing copy.
Actually his ad copy was the pretty darn hot. White hot actually.
I gotta give the guy that much.
Hark unto me though. Screwed again.

That's BECAUSE people lose their sense of logic if

Peacocks themselves around as some sort of know-it-all expert.
So anyway, now I'm down $97 bucks.
I won't war and peace you to death on HOW I got
into this pencil neck Geeks sales funnel. But I did.
I bought his eBook for $97 and it's utter rubbish.
It's thinly veiled around loosely conjectured content
and I doubt the guy could even spell the word relevant.
So why did I bite? Why did I buy this guys dribble?
I saw all of his testimonials. His bio seemed legit
and at least the guy can write convincing copy.
Actually his ad copy was the pretty darn hot. White hot actually.
I gotta give the guy that much.
Hark unto me though. Screwed again.
Here is the bottom line:

"Jim, get your list to at least 1,000 people and you can sell and
re-sell them at will over and over and over and make money
like it's going out-uv-style."
He was right!
Remember, I don't sell. I sell "away.' In other words, while
most people layer their ezines with blatant ads, while
most people show their "cards" too quick……
I don't. I treat my subscribers with respect.
I buy them dinner first, THEN I go for first base! Think sex!
#1) The FASTER you show your MLM the faster they
will leave.. I hide my MLM. I train and I over-deliver. I
entertain (ever read my newsletters?) and I don't forecast
my intent. In other words, I "slip" in links that sell for me.
Lesson: Leave your "offers" of "join my MLM" as an
after-thought. DON'T lead with it.
#2) Try this. STOP advertising a web-site. It's easier
to get some one to OPT INTO a report of some kind
that it is getting them to go to a web-site.
SAY "web-site" they HEAR, "I am being sold."
However, if you offer a FREE report they HEAR:

Here's a cool classified.
HEAVY HITTER UNLEASHES ACID:
Names mentioned and people unglued.
STOP BEING STRIPPED NUDE by

It’s predictable, mathematical and quantifiable
POINT the way!
The new model is simple. All you do is persuade
future buyers to volunteer their attention.
Not to buy anything. Just to watch you and to sample
whatever it is your are offering.
Hey? Didn’t you listen to the hot music CD you
last bought 3-4-5 times BEFORE you sold yourself?
THAT is what permission marketing is which
is why “he who controls the content also controls
the central nervous system of a niche market.”
Which is also why, those Net-Giants who have the
means and content to nest, cajole and entertain a
list of not-ready-to buy-yet-but-maybe-soon people
make all the ATM and PAY-PAL cash like Kings.
It’s predictable, mathematical and quantifiable
marketing. Yet it begins with trust. On both sides.
One where time becomes your buddy and patience
becomes your most loyal new best friend.
Imagine if you had this ARTICLE with your name
on it. Do you E-V-E-N have a clue as to the bounty
that such an article like this can harvest you?
Without content provided to HBO they wouldn’t
have a cable to stand on. No content = no biz.

Jim Tyler demonstrates his exhaustive display of THOUGHT
I am exhausted. Just flat pooped.
Why? Because this simple tiny little thought
took me almost 300 moons to discover.
Webster’s defines "exhausted" as
** Totally consumed
** Absolute fatigue
Now remember gang, we never create. He didn't
give is that ability. We can only DISCOVER what
already exists.
Leonardo Di Vinci told me that.
Leo said, "I don't create, I take away."
Here is the DISCOVER that took me 300 moons to discover.
"When you become the RIGHT kind of person the
WRONG kinds of people will learn to detest you."
Which means, the more you shift into your most
authentic self, the ones around you, even your most
best friends, some, will learn to detest you.
People don't like change.
So when you do, expect some complaints from those
that preferred you the "other" way.
To grow is to change. And that will peeve many around you.
This concept took me yearssssssssssssssssss
to uncover. And now it was said to Jim Tyler it is yours to share.
"When you move closer to your most AUTHENTIC
and real self, the wrong KINDS of people will
begin to detest you."
I also heard Him whisper into me once, "people
are here to either BUILD you up or TEAR you down."
Some people new at this might argue and say, "oh
that's too black and white for me."
And CREW-BOY would add, "you don't see things as they are,
yet rather you see things as you are."
Hmm.
